CD-ROM System Requirements
Heritage Books
CD-ROMs contain the necessary programs to run the CD in a
folder right on your purchased disk. If your computer does
not have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed already, you will be
able to install it from the CD in order to view the books.
Adobe Acrobat Reader is a free program, used universally to
read PDF files. We currently include Adobe Acrobat Reader
v.6 on our CD-ROMs (If you have an earlier CD from us, be
aware that we have also used versions 3.1, 4.0, and 5.0).
All of the CD-ROMs will work with the 6.0 Reader. (If you
own a CD with version 3.1 you'll note that the Roman
numerals are at the "back" of a book with "Next" and
"Previous" buttons for navigation.
Please Note:
If you have upgraded from Windows 98 to Windows XP you may
find that CDs you purchased from us no longer work because
of changes in Adobe Acrobat. We can provide a replacement CD
for $5.00 (plus shipping & handling). Contact our customer
service division for details,
orders@HeritageBooks.com.
